I’m continuing my reading of The Escape by William Wells Brown. Today’s reading actually wraps up our reading of this piece.

As always, please keep in mind that I’m reading what is written on the page. Literature from the 19th Century used language that would be offensive and unacceptable in our current society. I remember one use of the n* word, and I feel like something else offense was said, as well. Oh yes, the text used derogatory language toward American Native peoples.
